Industrial Net-Zero Technology Gateway for Real-world Application andTransition Enablement
Integrating solid oxide electrolysis cells into energy intensive industries
Explore the projectIn a nutshell
INDTEGRATE is a Horizon Europe-funded project aiming to support energy-intensive industries in lowering their carbon emissions through the adoption of net-zero technologies.
Focusing on the ceramics and glass sectors, and by integrating Solid Oxide Electrolyser Cells (SOECs), renewable energy sources, industrial waste heat recovery, and advanced digital solutions, INDTEGRATE aims to enhance energy efficiency, optimise hydrogen generation, and facilitate the transition towards climate-neutrality.
Moreover, through the development and validation of a modular SOEC system in real industrial settings, INDTEGRATE intends to demonstrate a scalable and economically viable approach for the decarbonisation of industrial processes.
