About
CMT-Clean Mobility & Thermofluids (CMT-UPV) is a highly dynamic and internationally well-known research institute at Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), with around 120 people. CMT-UPV has a long experience in research and technology transfer in complex thermo- and fluid-dynamic processes, thus allowing for keeping research at the forefront of technological developments while a strong relation with the expertise core is preserved.
Role in the project
UPV will lead the analysis and configuration of new combustion modes using mixtures of natural gas and hydrogen (WP3, T3.4), as well as the design of a heat recovery system (WP4, T4.2) for steam production recovering the thermal energy from the exhaust kilns used in the manufacture of frit and glass. UPV will also contribute to the integration of thermal systems into the facilities.
